March 7th through 8th was the Sierra County Rock and Gem Society’s annual Rock and Gem Show at the Sierra County Fairgrounds, and it was an incredible day! The fairgrounds were buzzing with activity as the community came together to celebrate all things geology — rocks, gems, fossils, and the stories they tell about our planet.
With amazing vendors, delicious food trucks, and two field trips where visitors could hunt for rocks of their own, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was an honor to capture such a fun and vibrant event!
