Hello, I'm Andrew Hersey, the founder of Hersey Photography and a creative voice within Hersey Creative Studios, LLC.

My life has been a journey shaped by service, family, and the ever-present allure of the camera lens. Born in Florida and raised in North Carolina, I embarked on an incredible 22-year adventure with the United States Air Force, retiring in 2024. This military career took me around the globe, offering a privileged view of diverse landscapes and unforgettable human moments—experiences that deeply inspired me to become a photographer.

As a dedicated father of four and an Air Force veteran with over two decades of dedicated service, my perspective behind the lens is profoundly influenced by the richness of family life and the importance of preserving personal history. My lifelong passion for nature and storytelling eventually merged, inspiring me to create Hersey Photography as a way to share the world as I see it, through both compelling event documentation and evocative abstract art. I have even published a book and maintain a blog to further share the stories and experiences that have helped shape me as a person.
